Pease be praying of all of Georgia Baptist Disaster Relief efforts in the wake of Helene.  Serving this week, Sarah Thompson is deployed in Valdosta. Prayers for these as so many give to help others recover.

This Sunday at 9:30 AM, we gather to study the Word of God. Explore the Bible for Adults, Session 7 for FALL 2024, the study continues in Acts 17:22-34. For assistance deciding which class to attend contact our Education Director.

...not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

As Funston Baptist gathers this week, we will be devoted to the hearing of God's word, the declaration of our praises to God through the singing of hymns and prayer; also the submission of our hearts to the preached Word. Sunday Morning we will celebrate the ordinance of baptism.

Funston Elementary's Fall Festival is October 15th, and we are looking for ways to help our neighbors and serve our community.
We are looking for

• Helpers (Oct. 15 - 5pm to 7:30pm)
• Baked goods for Bake Sale (bring to church by 4:00pm on Oct. 15)
• Wrapped bags of cookies/brownies/cupcakes for CakeWalk event
