Clay Dyer was born May 23, 1978, without lower limbs, a left arm, and with only a partial right arm. Despite these challenges, his determination and positive spirit led him to begin fishing at age 5 and competing in tournaments at 15. He fished with FLW from 2000–2010 and began his BASS career in 2012. For more than 25 years, Clay has shared his experiences through motivational and leadership presentations with organizations across the country.

Clay is a devoted Christian and will be sharing his testimony and a message of hope through the gospel of Jesus Christ. His motto for life is, “If I can, you can.”

Wednesday, SEPTEMBER 9 will be our weekly next prayer time for the process of Pastor Search. We will pray for our committee and all aspects of the search.
If you can not attend, please pray where you are at the appointed time.

This Sunday at 9:30 AM, we gather to study the Word of God. Session 2 of Explore the Bible for Adults, we have begun our quarterly study from the book of ROMANS. For assistance deciding which class to attend, contact our Education Director.

As Funston Baptist gathers this week, we will express praise to Christ through hymns and prayer, and submit our hearts to the proclamation of God's Word.
Sunday morning, will be a special service dedicated to Deacon Ordination and Sunday evening, a message from Hebrews 5:1-10 entitled, "A Great High Priest."  

Each week, we collect:

• Juice Boxes
• Apple Sauce
• Fruit Cups
• Cheese/Peanut Butter Crackers
• Pop Tarts
• Shelf Milk
• Individual Cereal Cups
• Snack Packs: Raisins, Fruit Gummies, etc.

All donations will go directly to students in our community.
