Support a Mother in Need Embrace Grace Ministry

Southside Baptist Church, in partnership with the Colquitt County Baptist Association, is supporting the ministry Embrace Grace. This ministry provides emotional, practical, and spiritual support for single young pregnant women.

As part of this effort, we have an opportunity to bless one of these young mothers by joining a Baby Shower. We invite our church family to participate in showing Christ's love through gifts, encouragement, and prayers.

Date: April 25 [our last day to collect item here at FBC April 19]

Location: Southside Baptist, Norman Park, 10:00 AM

You Can Help:

• Donate baby items (diapers, wipes, clothing, toys, blankets, diaper bag, burp cloths, bath set, baby healthcare kit, etc.)(Donations collected in Social Hall)
• Attend and offer encouragement.
• Pray for Kulise and her baby girl.

Wednesday, April 15 is our weekly prayer time for the discernment of God's will as we move forward in the search for our pastor.
Every Wednesday, from 6:00 - 6:45 p.m. in Tom’s classroom.
If you are unable to be with us, please commit to pray where you are at this appointed time.

This Sunday at 9:30 AM, we gather to study the Word of God. In this Session 8 of Explore the Bible for Adults, we will continue in Matthew Chapter 20. For assistance deciding which class to attend, contact our Education Director.

As Funston Baptist gathers this week, we will express praise to Christ through hymns and prayer, and submit our hearts to the preached Word.

Sunday Morning, Pastor Mike brings our message from Ruth 3, entitled: "Getting Ready for the Redeemer." Sunday Evening, our message continues in Hebrews 2: "What Is Man That Thou Art Mindful of Him."

Our bible school will be held in the evenings from 5:00PM - 8:30PM

Each day starts at 5:00pm in the Funston Gymnasium.

Each week, we collect:

• Juice Boxes
• Apple Sauce
• Fruit Cups
• Cheese/Peanut Butter Crackers
• Pop Tarts
• Shelf Milk
• Individual Cereal Cups
• Snack Packs: Raisins, Fruit Gummies, etc.

All donations will go directly to students in our community.
Please leave items in DONATION BOX near the water cooler.
