Our thoughts toward prayer will be for all areas of needs that impact the lives of our members and the witness of our church in the world.

We gather to study the Word of God each Sunday. We continue our Bible study in the Gospel of Mark 6:30-44.  For help deciding which class to attend contact our Education Director.

...not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

As Funston Baptist gathers this week, we will be devoted to the hearing of God's word, the declaration of our praises to God through the singing of hymns and prayer; also the submission of our hearts to the preached Word. Sunday morning we will observe the Lord's Supper and Sunday evening is devoted to worship in the Solemn Assembly; with thanksgiving and discerning of His will for the church.

We have many who are a part of our church family that we want to remember on their special day.

We will gather soon for our monthly church-wide Fellowship Supper. The church is providing BBQ Pulled Pork, Chicken & Ribs, Tea and Coffee. Please bring your favorite sides and desserts to go with our meal.  
The youth will be early to help setup and also cleanup.  All donations made will go to their Summer Centrifuge Fund.
